Free Me is a campaign by a group of current and former tertiary students who promote voluntary membership of tertiary student associations on the grounds of freedom of association.
All of our activities are funded by our members or supporters. We are not affiliated to any student association and receive no money from compulsory student association levies.
Free Me believes that compulsory membership of student associations violates individuals’ right to freedom of association. We’re campaigning for a change to the section of the Education Act that relates to tertiary student associations.
